A custom home for the dogs

A furniture-style double dog kennel with a gray finish, dark metal bars, double doors, and a generous top.

Furniture for pets can still look considered in the room around it. This custom double kennel has the scale of a substantial cabinet, with two separate front doors and a wide top that makes the whole piece feel grounded.

Seen from every side

The gray finish softens the silhouette. Dark bars, hinges, and latches give the front a clear rhythm, while the open sides bring light through the interior. From one angle the two compartments are the focus; from another, the upper open section and the width of the top become more visible.

I like to photograph a finished piece from several angles because its proportions tell a fuller story than a single front view. In the gallery, the kennel sits outdoors so you can see the door layout, side panels, and overall shape without the visual noise of a room.

This is a custom design from my furniture portfolio. I do not offer a downloadable plan for this piece.
